The Urban Meyer era is underway in Columbus, and in true style he treated alums and Buckeyes fans of all types to a 56-10 thrashing of in-state rival Miami, Ohio. Dual-threat QB Braxton Miller completed passes for 8.6 yards per attempt while running for 161 yards, at an even more impressive 9.5 yards per tote. He scored three times as well, and will be a handful for Central Florida. The Knights beat up on MAC doormat Akron 56-14, but that game did little to prepare them for an Ohio State team that is tough on both sides of the ball. Central Florida lost seven games last year after winning their opener 62-0, so it’s hard to take away anything of value from what they did last week. They have a lot of experience on offense, but they haven't played a BCS Conference power on the road in many years, and this offense has not seen a defense this good in their careers. Urban Meyer is one of the best cover coaches in football (78-43 ATS), and now he joins a program that has gone 56-27-1 ATS in their last 84 games. Play on Ohio State.
