Central Florida at East Carolina

Central Florida had a scare at Memphis before rallying for a 31-30 win to preserve the nation's longest winning streak at 19 games and now it goes on the road against East Carolina, which is 0-3 in conference play and ranks in the bottom 30 in the nation in scoring offense and defense. The Knights need to be motivated every game because one loss will look bad in the eyes of the pollsters, who didn't fully appreciate their undefeated season last year.  Quarterback McKenzie Milton was 17-of-29 for 296 yards and a touchdown against the Tigers, who ran for 281 yards on 52 carries but still came up short. UCF is third in the country in total yards of offense and averaging 45.7 points and allowing only 19.5. East Carolina is averaging just 23.3 points per game and has been outscored 91-26 its last two games against Temple and Houston. UCF won last year's matchup 63-21 covering as a 35-point favorite and the Knights won the previous year 47-29 as a three-point underdog. The Knights have covered four of the last five meetings and they are 5-2-1 ATS their last eight road games. The Pirates are 7-27-1 ATS their last 35 conference games and 14-36-1 ATS their last 51 games overall. Also, East Carolina is 3-9-1 ATS its last 13 home contests. Take Central Florida.
