California lost a tough one last week 45-44 in double overtime to Arizona, but Justin Wilcox has his team going in the right direction in his first year at the helm with a 5-3 record, including a 37-3 blowout win against Washington State as a 16-point underdog two weeks ago. Meanwhile, Colorado has lost four of its last five, including 28-0 at Washington State last Saturday while gaining a paltry 174 total offense yards and averaging 2.0 yards per carry and giving up 406 yards to the Cougars. The Buffaloes played three different quarterbacks to no avail and are suffering from numerous injuries on the offensive line. Colorado has not covered the spread its last four home games and is 1-6 ATS its last seven games overall. Also, the Buffaloes are 16-35-1 ATS their last 52 October games.
