Coastal Carolina at Massachusetts

Coastal Carolina won last year's meeting 38-28 as a two-point underdog and it's a slightly bigger underdog in this one. Massachusetts is having a very disappointing season with a 2-5 record even though it returned 16 starters from the 2017 squad that won four of its last six games. The Minutemen have allowed a whopping 116 points its last two games against Ohio and South Florida and they are giving up an average of 44.9 points this season. USF racked up 574 total yards of offense, including 365 on the ground on 8.9 yards per rush. Coastal Carolina had won three straight before losing to Troy and UL-Monroe, but the Chanticleers have shown they can put points on the board. They averaged 45 points in their three wins and the Minutemen defense has shown it can't stop anyone. Coastal Carolina has covered five of its last seven road games and UMass is 1-5 ATS its last six games overall. The Chanticleers are 4-1 ATS over their last five following an ATS loss.
