BYU at San Jose State

The BYU Cougars love to play at a fast pace, but they have had to do so without QB Taysom Hill, and star running back Jamaal Williams. The injuries keep mounting on offense for this team, and now have three offensive lineman that are doubtful for this game vs. San Jose State. It is hard to see this team overcoming what they have to deal with this week offensively. BYU does have a slightly above-average defense, which will be called upon to carry the day in this one against a pedestrian Spartans attack. The best part of the Spartans defense is the back seven and they should be able to limit the Cougars passing attack. The Cougars have brought the defense for these Friday affairs, as they have logged a 17-4-1 mark to the UNDER in their last 22 Friday tilts, while the Spartans own a 5-2 mark to the UNDER in their last seven vs. a winning team. The UNDER gets the nod in this one.
