BYU at New Mexico State

The BYU defense has slipped just one time all season when they allowed 42 points to Oregon State. They have held eight teams to 17 points or less, and the New Mexico State Aggies will do themselves well here if they can even get on the scoreboard. The Aggies have scored just 81 points in their last seven games vs. far less, and that is just 11.6 ppg. They will face a defense that ranks 3rd of 124 teams, and scoring will be a luxury here. The other problem is the fact that the Aggies have given up 35 or more six times on the season, so a blowout here seems pretty certain. The Cougars haven't been very offensive vs. the good teams on their schedule but have managed 41 or more four times vs weaker teams and New mexico St. certainly qualifies here.
