Liberty graduated an NFL QB. The Flames have been a good program and while many think this team could be like the 12-1 team of a couple of years ago, it isn't even close, and the record is based on one of the softest FBS schedules in the country. Their last 4 games were vs Akron, Old Dominion, UMass, and Gardner Webb. They beat Akron by 9 and Garner Webb by 1. Liberty turns the ball over way too much. They have 16 turnovers in their seven games against very poor competition while forcing 18 of their own. BYU has played a P5 schedule. This team is 4-3, but I really believe they would be 7-0 with the Liberty schedule, and Liberty would be 2-5 or even 1-6 playing the BYU schedule. I think this line is way off as the strength of the schedule of these 2 teams is as wide as it gets. Make the play on BYU. Also take the UNDER. In their last 121 games vs. winning teams, BYU is 74-47 to the UNDER. The last 86 times they played to a total in this range (greater than 56 and less than or equal to 63), the Cougars are 54-32 to the UNDER. And, they are 20-8 UNDER following a game in which they allowed 42 or more points. Expect BYU to take out their frustrations of allowing 52 to Arkansas on an overmatched Liberty squad.
