Buffalo at Temple

It was just a few short years ago when Temple was on the other side of these huge lines, often getting 40 or more points. Times they are a chagin'. For the past three years, the Owls have been one of the MAC's best football teams and this season they are at it again. What has really stood out is that they are now as good against bad teams, as they used to be bad against good teams. In their last five MAC tilts vs. sub-.500 competition, Temple is 5-0 having outscored their opponents 197-10. That works out to a margin of 37.4 points per game. Turner Gill had this Buffalo program and it is headed in the right direction, but when left he took the winning with him. The Bulls struggle on offense especially against a defense that can offer some resistance. In the above five Owls games vs. losing MAC teams, Temple has recorded three shutouts, so I don't expect the Bulls to be able to move the ball here at all. The Bulls own a 1-6 ATS mark the last seven times they have been a dog of +10.5 or more, while the Owls are now 20-7 ATS after allowing fewer than 20 in their previoous game. All Temple in this one. Play the Owls here.
