Buffalo at Akron

Buffalo had the appearance of a better outcome than it should have last week in a 45-38 loss. They were down 31-7 in the second-half, but a couple of fumbles and they scored 14 quick points. They trailed again by 14 late and then recovered a botched onside kick and scored again in the last minute. They were outgained by Lafayette 520-373. Most are used to Akron being awful, but this year they have a better defense. They lost to Temple by just three, and to Indiana by just two. Over the past three seasons, Buffalo is just 3-12 ATS following a loss. Last week's total points in the Buffalo game were because a lot of crazy things happened, and I don't expect the same here.
