Bowling Green vs. Minnesota

Minnesota has waited two years to get payback for one of the worst losses in its recent history. The Golden Gophers were 30.5-point favorites against Bowling Green on Sept. 25, 2021 and lost outright 14-10 and it ended the Gophers' 21-game win streak against non-conference opponents. That is plenty of motivation enough for Minnesota, which finished the regular season on a low note losing its last four games. Minnesota QB Athan Kaliakmanis has hit the transfer portal and will not play and Cole Kramer will get the start. However, its top rusher, Darius Taylor is expected to play along with wide receiver Daniel Jackson, who led the team with 831 receiving yards and caught eight TD passes. Minnesota has won six bowl games in a row (5-1 ATS), including 28-20 over Syracuse in the 2022 Pinstripe Bowl. Bowling Green QB Connor Bazelak passed for 1,709 yards and eight TDs, Terion Stewart rushed for 762 yards and tight end Harold Fannin Jr. had 573 receiving yards. The Golden Gophers are 5-1 ATS their past six neutral-site games and 6-1 ATS their past seven December games. Minnesota coach P.J.
