Bowling Green at Kent State

Bowling Green had beaten the Golden Flashes five times in a row before losing 35-28 last year, which makes this game a revenge situation for the Falcons. Both teams are coming off bad losses with Bowling Green losing 35-7 to Louisiana Tech and Kent State getting blown out 55-16 at Auburn. The week before, the Flashes were fortunate to defeat FCS Kennesaw State 26-23 in overtime and now they're double-digit favorites against a fellow Mid-American Conference school. Kent State was outyarded 633-321 by Auburn, including an incredible 467 rushing yards by the Tigers, who had three players run for at least 100 yards. Bowling Green senior quarterback Darius Wade, who became the starter after Jarret Doege transferred to West Virginia, completed 18-of-38 for 171 yards against the Bulldogs. Wade also combined with Davon Jones to rush for 94 yards. The road team has covered the spread six of the last seven meetings and Kent State is 1-4 ATS its last five September games.
