Boise State at Utah State

You have to hand it to the program at Boise State. They don't have a power-five conference affiliation, but they have been every bit as good as a power-five team for about a decade and a half. They lost their opener by 11 points at BYU, lost their starting QB in the next game, had a lot of holes to fill from graduations, and here they are at 5-2. The Broncos have been strong on both sides of the ball, but the defense has been lethal as they have allowed a total of 37 points in their five wins at 7 points per game. Utah State may not have the offense, but the defense is as strong as usual as the Aggies are allowing fewer than 20 ppg, and that is to a mostly road schedule. At home, they surrender just 13.5 ppg at home. The fact is the the Aggies have not allowed more than 24 points at home since October of 2013. Boise State has run off five straight UNDERS on field turf, while the Aggies have played 8-2 to the UNDER in their last 10 vs. a winning team. This one stays UNDER.
