Boise State at Georgia Southern

Boise St. will open the season on the road at Georgia Southern. The Broncos had a good season last year as they won the Mountain West Conference with a 6-2 record, and went on to win the Conference Championship game by a 44-20 score over UNLV. The season ended with a 35-22 Bowl loss at the hands of UCLA. QB Spencer Danielson took over when the Broncos were 5-5, and the offense clicked and ended the season second in the MWC with 444.2 yards per contest. The running game should be even better with Ashton Jeanty carrying the load. Despite a last place finish in the Sun Belt Eastern division, the Eagles did enough to qualify for a Bowl but lost to Ohio U. 41-21 in the Myrtle Beach Bowl to finish the season 6-7. Boise St. has played to expectations as the favorite has won each of the Bronco's last seven games. Boise St. returns three of four offensive linemen and I can see them in the Georgia Southern backfield a lot this game. Make the play on Boise St.
