Baylor at Central Florida

Central Florida is a new member of the Big 12 Conference. They found the going tough last week losing their first Big 12 game, 44-31, to Kansas State. The defense was mauled surrendering 536 yards, including 281 rushing (7.0 yards per carry). Sophomore QB Timmy McClain has had to step in for injured senior QB John Rhys Plumlee, who is questionable to play. Baylor comes off a bad loss to No. 3 Texas but played well in a 20-13 loss to No. 12 Utah as a +7 dog before letting a 13-3 second-half lead slip away. The Bears can run at the soft Central Florida defense with junior RB Dominic Richardson (160 yards, 4.4 ypc) and RB Dawson Pendergrass (4.8 yards per carry). Last year, UCF lost 20-14 at home as a 5.5-favorite over Louisville and had a 17-14 home loss to Navy as -15 chalk.
