Ball State at Oklahoma

Why exactly do BCS powerhouses schedule these kind of games? I'm not sure, but I'll be glad to jump in where I see value. Oklahoma has the offense to top this total by themselves. They seldom play these lower-tiered conferences but their last two saw them average 69 points per game! This is also not the same caliber of defensive teams we have seen from Oklahoma in the past. I would expect as this one gets out of hand, Ball State will be able to find the endzone a few times, if not early, then in garbage time. The Cardinals can score some as their last 11 games has seen eight of them eclipse the total. The Sooners allowed over 200 rushing yards their last game and have followed a game allowing 200+ on the ground by playing five of the last six OVER the total. Under Bob Stoops, the Sooners are 22-12 OVER at home following a win. This one gets ugly early and the door is open for a decent Ball State team to score enough here to push this one OVER the total.
