Ball State at Ohio

The MAC Conference will get week 12 started as Ball State heads to Ohio to take on Ohio, U. The Cardinals don't have much offense to pack for the trip, as they average a mere 23.6 points per game, but it has been a lot worse than that, as they opned the season scoring 48 against VMI, and had an outlier game vs. Northern Illinois that turned into a shootout. The rest of the Ball State games, the bulk of their schedule, has left the offense at 18.4 ppg. Ohio is 6-5 and Bowl eligible, but they have not exactly put fear in opposing defenses either. The Bobcats average 25. 6ppg, however, a lot of that came early on as they have reached that average in just two of their last seven games, and continues to fall. The Bobcats just shutout another poor offense in Kent State in their last game, and I think both teams struggle to get to their offensive season averages in this one. Even if they do that contributes 49 total points, still UNDER the total. Ball State has played seven of their last eight to the UNDER, and just one of those eight games has gotten over 50 points in combined scoring, and the Ohio offense isn't any better than any of those opponents on the offensive end.
