There was no place to go but up for this Hoosier team coming into this season. Indiana lost all their games vs. FBS opponents last season, with their lone win coming against a non-FBS team. They have already doubled that win total from a year ago. This team now has a well needed confidence boost, as it has another winnable game at home vs. Ball State. Ball State has struggled since their big year, and has opened with a win over Eastern Michigan. They were then thrashed, as expected, by Clemson. The Hosiers piled-up over 600 yards a week ago for the first time in over a decade. Cameron Coffman will take over for the injured Tre Roberson at QB, but the offense did not skip a beat last week, as he went 16-22 for 159 yards. Ball State has QB issues as Keith Wenning has thrown two INTs and has yet to throw a TD pass. The Cardinals run the ball well, but that is an improved area for the Hoosiers, who are now 7-3 ATS following a win in their last 10. Indiana moves to 2-0 on the season, and get the call in this one.
