Ball State at Eastern Michigan

The Eastern Michigan Eagles got a rare win last week when they went to Wyoming and shocked the Cowboys by a score of 48-29. That has really held the line down here as the Eagles allowed over 400 rushing yards vs. a one-dimensional Wyoming offense. Ball State won vs. VMI in their opener, but was no match for Texas A&M last week, but the good news is that they scored 23 points in that game. Despite the Eastern Michigan win last week, this remains one of the worst team in CFB for decades, and another poor season is likely at hand. Wins simply do not come often for this team, and consecutive wins are even more rare. They have recorded consecutive wins just 19 times in the last 35 years in 69 chances, and their record trying to win two straight is a woeful 24-41 ATS. Ball State will come away with a comfortable road win and cover here in this one. Go with Ball State.
