Ball State at Buffalo

Ball State is off to a 3-3 start, but when you look at the three teams they beaten, it isn't very eye appealing. The Cardinals have beaten Northern Illinois, Florida Atlantic, and Georgia State. Those three teams are a combined 3-14. They will be facing another team in Buffalo that is just 1-4. The Bulls have big issues on offense, have already lost at home to FCS Albany State, and are averaging just 15.2 points per game. That means for this game to get to 50+ total points, Ball State is going to have to do all the heavy lifting on offense. That will be asking a lot of a team that is averaging just 5.3 yards per play vs. defenses that average allowing 5.6. The Cardinals have certainly not been offensively productive the last two seasons when playing on turf, averaging just 24 ppg and are 11-3 to the UNDER. They will have to overachieve to push this one OVER the top, take the UNDER.
