Auburn at Kansas State

Auburn had a sensational season a year ago, and it seemed that everything went exactly right and in their favor with a few unbelievable finishes to secure their place in the National Championship game. They ultimately lost to Florida State. This season proves to be a difficult one as the schedule is daunting to say the least. The Tigers have six games vs. conference opponents lying ahead that are ranked in the top 15 in the country, and first they head to Manhattan, Kansas to face a very good Wildcats team. Kansas State is ranked #20 in the country and have played strong at home where they have lost just four times in their last 24 games, and just once by double-digits. So this certainly looks like they will be in this game to win it. Kansas State has also thrived in the role of a home dog where they have recorded 13 straight-up wins in 31 tries. It is hard to also buck the numbers behind legendary coach Bill Snyder where he has taken an unbeaten team into the early part of the schedule - from game two to game four, his record at home is 36-1 straight-up.
