There are no secrets to these teams that face each other every season. They both run the triple option extensively on offense. There is one big difference between the teams, however. The Air Force has better personnel and runs the option better against much better competition. While they don't throw a lot, they do manage 149 yards in the air to Army's 49, and that spells problems for the Black Knights who simply aren't built to play from behind. Army has had all sorts of defensive problems on the road this season where they enter this game at 0-4 and allowing 44 points per game in the four played on the highway. Although having success with their option oriented offense, Army has had trouble when they get behind without a passing game. In their last eight as a dog of greater than +10.5 they are a pathetic 1-7 ATS, and have failed to cover five straight vs. the Air Force. This one goes to the Air Force.
