Arkansas State at Georgia State

Arkansas State takes a 3-2 record to Georgia State this week. The Panthers are 2-2 on the season, but I think the distance between these tems on the field is much different than the records indicate. The Red Wolves have lost games vs. Georgia and SMU, and that has skewed the stats. The loss of QB Logan Bonner for the season hurts, but Lane Hatcher looks like an able-bodied replacement as he 28-40 on the season at 12.3 yards per attempt and four TDs. He should thrive against a poor Panthers' secondary. Since their opening game shocker vs. Tennessee in a 38-30 win, they have been drubbed the last two weeks vs. Western Michigan and Texas State allowing 94 points total in the two games. Arkansas State is better on both sides of the ball, and should win easily. Take Arkansas State.
