Arkansas at Auburn

First-year coach Sam Pittman finally did what no other Arkansas coach was able to do since Oct. 28, 2017, and that is win an SEC game as the Razorbacks defeated Mississippi State, 21-14. Feleipe Franks threw two touchdown passes, and Mississippi State quarterback K.J. Costello was intercepted three times a week after he put on a scintillating performance in beating LSU. Franks completed 20 of 28 for 212 yards. The Razorbacks are two-touchdown underdogs this week, even though Auburn was buried, 27-6, by Georgia on Saturday. The Tigers were down 24-0 in the first half, and Bo Nix threw for just 177 yards on 21 of 40 and the running game was held to a meager 39 yards on 1.8 yards per carry. The Auburn defense gave up 202 rushing yards. Arkansas has covered the spread its last four games dating to last season, and it returns 14 starters, who gained a lot of experience while going through the tough 2019 season. And Franks, who transferred from Florida, has a strong arm and is capable of keeping this one close. Take the points with Arkansas.
