Arizona vs. Oklahoma

Both teams come into the Alamo Bowl on winning streaks and Oklahoma destroyed TCU 69-45 in its regular season finale as a 10-point favorite. Arizona has won six straight although they lost to Washington and USC before playing mostly weaker teams in the Pac-12. Oklahoma QB Dillon Gabriel opted out and the Sooner quarterback will be Jackson Arnold, who will make his first start, but he was a phenom coming out of high school where he threw for more than 7,000 yards and rushed for 1,580 yards in two seasons. The Sooner defense is known for forcing turnovers and Oklahoma has incentive to win a bowl game after losing 35-32 to Florida State in the 2022 Cheez-It Bowl.
