Arizona State at Texas State

Texas State has high hopes this season after finishing 8-5 and getting its first bowl game win in 2023. The Bobcats return 18 starters and they destroyed UTSA 49-10 last week as a 2.5-point favorite. Jordan McCloud threw for 309 yards and two TDs and Lincoln Pare ran for 109 yards on only 11 rushes. Chris Dawn Jr. caught five passes for 150 yards and two TDs and the Bobcats won their fourth in a row (3-1 ATS) dating to last season. Texas State is 6-1 ATS its past seven September games and Arizona State is 0-4 ATS its past four games as a road favorite. The Sun Devils have gone UNDER seven straight Thursday games and the Bobcats are 6-0 UNDER on Thursdays. Arizona State stayed UNDER in its 30-23 win over Mississippi State on Saturday and the Sun Devils totaled just 69 passing yards and depended on Cam Skattebo, who racked up 262 yards rushing, but with no touchdowns.
