Appalachian State at Old Dominion

A pair of relatively new members of the FBS will take each other on as Appalachian State travels to Old Dominion to take on the Monarchs. Appalachian State may well be under the radar simply because they were blown out as expected at Clemson, and blew out Howard, so they have yet to be placed in a more competitive situation. They have a very strong offense which is needed when taking to the road. Old Dominion was beaten soundly by North Carolina State as expected, but really struggled vs. two very bad programs in Norfolk State, and Eastern Michigan. They appear to be in trouble here for this one as the defense has not played all that well., and the offense is ranked in the bottom 25% despite a couple of easy games. The Monarchs own a 1-10 ATS mark after allowing 200+ on the ground in their last game and are also 0-7 ATS when following a loss. Make the play on Appalachian State.
