Appalachian State at Massachusetts

It has been a rough ride for UMass since coming aboard the FBS back in 2012. They have a combined 11-73 SU record, and have yet to top the three win mark in any season. Their 84 game tally on offense reads 20.1ppg over the 5+ year history. While they have put up 50+ in back-to-back weeks, it has done nothing but serve to add to the total for this one. At 5-2  Appalachian State is a different entity on defense than their last two opponents. Appalachian State held Georgia to 31 and Wake Forest to 20, in their only two losses on the season, but have limited their five opponents not from a Power 5 Conference to 20 ppg. UMass has had more success than previous years on defense, and has allowed 20 points or less to half the teams on their schedule. I think their recent run of offense has this one pegged too high, so play on the UNDER.
