Appalachian State at Idaho

Appalachian State has stayed UNDER five of its last seven games while Idaho has gone UNDER all but one of its games this season, including last week's 21-16 loss to UL Lafayette. Idaho held the Ragin' Cajuns to 3.3 yards per carry but managed only 2.2 yards per rush themselves. Matt Linehan finished 13-of-28 for 149 yards with no touchdowns for the Vandals. Appalachian State is allowing an average of 20.4 points per game compared to 26.2 for Idaho, which is scoring 23.4 points per contest. The Mountaineers average 29.6 points, however, that includes a 54-7 win over FCS Savannah State. Appalachian State has gone UNDER its last four road games and the Vandals have stayed UNDER four straight at home dating to last season. Also, Idaho is 5-1 UNDER its last six conference games. The Mountaineers have seven defensive starters back from a squad that gave up only 18 points per game in 2016. Look for another UNDER in this matchup.
