Appalachian State at Clemson

Appalachian State is a fine program and no stranger to stepping up in competition. They return quarterback Joey Aguilar, who has two TDs and no interceptions this season after throwing for 33 TDs and only 10 picks last year. The offensive line is very good in running and pass protection. Appalachian State went to No. 17 North Carolina of the ACC one year ago and lost in double-overtime, 40-34, as a +19.5 dog. Two years ago, they won at No. 6 Texas A&M, 17-14, as a +18 underdog. Clemson has a second-year offensive coordinator in Garrett Riley who struggled too often, and a quarterback in Cade Klubnik who has 21 TDs and 12 picks for the Tigers.
