Appalachian State at Arkansas State

The Appalachian State Mountaineers transition into the FBS has come with significant growing pains. It certainly would appear that with three straight wins they are turning the corner. But, before you think that let's revisit the opponents in those contests. The three wins were against teams that are a combined 6-23, and their fourth win was a lay-down vs. a non-FBS team in Campbell. The three wins have impacted the line for this one, and held it down, vs. one of the best home teams in CFB. Arkansas State is 43-10 in their last 53 at home, and have covered all four of their games at home this season. The Red Wolves are 6-3, but two of the losses were to Miami, and Tennessee. Their wins vs. mediocre to poor teams have all been big. They are 19-7-1 ATS in conference play, and Appalachian State has not seen a good opponent in a month, and will pay the price here. Go with Arkansas State.
