Alabama at Tennessee

You can feel the bubble coming on, can't you? When housing prices just seem to high, they crash. When stocks go to high, they crash. And, when hype for the undefeated #1 team in the nation gets too high... well, you know. Alabama looks unstoppable. Their defense so far has been better than last year's and that team won the national championship. The Tide are outscoring teams by 33 points per game. How can they not crush Tennessee here? Well, first off, as great as Alabama has looked, they are just 3-3 ATS on the season. They have covered the spread in the three games in which they were laying reasonable points (21 or less). In the three games in which they have laid more than three touchdowns, they have failed to cover all three. This team is reading their own press clippings and at this point in the season when they have had everything go their way, letdowns are possible. Also, Bama will be looking to shorten this game with a lot of running, and escape without injuries. Here we get a very capable quarterback at home in Tyler Bray and a lot of points in a conference game. Take the home dog.
