Alabama at LSU

This should be a very interesting battle of a pair of teams that hate each other, and both have strong physical defenses. The total looks to be a bit high as Alabama has scored an amazing 12 non-offensive TDs on the season, producing 10.5 points per game. That is not likely to continue and puts some value on the total. Nick Saban has taken his high-scoring Alabama teams to Baton Rouge four times, and each game has seen fewer points scored than the last, and none of the four games has gotten out of the 40s. LSU has been much better defensively under Ed Orgeron since he took over for the fired Les Miles. The Tigers have played seven games this season, all of which have failed to get to the total, and I don't see anything different for this one. LSU has a long history of slowing a potent offense, leading to a 26-13 mark to the UNDER vs. a team generating 450 yards or more per game. The Crimson Tide comes in 27-9 to the UNDER after three straight conference wins. This will be a battle of defenses, so make the play on the UNDER.
