The list of unbeaten NCAA football teams has diminished to 15, and I doubt many would have picked Ohio U to be one of them. They are just one of three teams that are already Bowl eligible. The Bobcats finished 10-4 a year ago and atop the MAC East, but lost the title game to Northern Illinois. They then went on to beat Utah State in their Bowl game. This team appears to be on a mission to finish the job this year. QB Tyler Tettleton is amongst the best in the country as he has thrown for 1,200 yards 10 TDs and just one INT on the season. He doesn't have the pressure to do it all as he has Beau Blankenship in the backfield that has 843 yards rushing, which is already good enough for No. 7 best in the FBS. The Zips have not beaten a FBS team in the last two seasons and tehy are 1-8 ATS in conference over the past two seasons. In their last 15 road games in this spread range (+14.5 to +21), they are just 3-12 ATS. While they might be improved, they still have miles to go. This is a team that since the start of last season has lost eight games by 32 or more points. The Zips now face the best with a spread that may look big, but pales in comparison to what Akron has done on the field. The blowout is on. Play the Bobcats.
