Akron at Indiana

Indiana is laying a lot of points considering it has scored a total of only 17 points against its two FBS opponents this season, including a 21-14 loss to Louisville last week and a 23-3 defeat versus Ohio State in the season opener. Indiana QB Tayven Jackson threw for 299 yards and a TD and interception against the Cardinals, but the Hoosiers only got 58 yards on the ground on 2.1 yards per carry and they were outgained 422-357. Akron barely lost to Temple 24-21 in the season opener before beating Morgan State, but the Zips took a step backward last week in a 35-3 loss to Kentucky. Still, the Zips are 5-1-1 ATS against FBS teams dating to last season and return nine starters on an offense which will fare better against Indiana as opposed to Kentucky, which allows only 11.3 points per game.
