The Buffalo Bulls have opened some eyes in the MAC Conference as they enter this home game vs Akron. The Bulls are 5-1, but there are a lot of questions remaining. The Bulls biggest win was vs. Temple, but the Owls were playing poorly then, and are much better now. The five wins have come vs. Delaware State and teams that have combined for a 10-19 record. Akron is 2-2 and owns a win over Northwestern and a competitive cover vs. Iowa State. They are certainly capable of playing Buffalo inside of a 10-point game. The Bulls may also be without top WR Anthony Johnson, who is nursing an ankle injury. Coach Bowden has led the Zips to an 18-9 ATS mark heading out on the road after a home game. Take the points on Akron.
