Air Force at San Diego State

Not much was expected from Air Force this season, but they have definitely surprised. They have won seven of their last eight games of the season and have been playing well above the line in covering each of their last three. The offense has generated well over 400 yards per game this season. The defense has been the story, however. The Falcons did not keep a single FBS team under 27 points a season ago, but has kept six teams to 21 points or less this season. This team has made big strides on both sides of the ball, and that is why they are 8-2 on the season. San Diego State is 5-5 on the season, but they have not beat a team with more than three wins on their record. Their four wins vs. FBS teams show those teams with a combined record of 9-33.
