Air Force at Navy

The first battle for the Commander in Chief trophy and this line looks a bit small from our perspective. AFA has been pretty average thus far this season, getting romped by CSU, and barley beating Washington - the worst team in the PAC 10. Fisher Deberry is saying all the right things, but the loss to Wyoming stung this club, as did the whooping Colorado State layed on them one week ago. AFA is only 2-17 ATS off a loss by 10 points or more to a conference rival since 1992. Navy is a good football team as evidenced by their 3-0 ATS mark. They barely lost to two superior teams, and beat an improved Duke team one week ago. Navy just doesn't get the respect they deserve and as a result, they are 17-5 ATS in non-conference games over the past three seasons. They are also 8-1 vs. losing teams over the same time period.
