Most got a good look at this Air Force team on Friday night when they punished Nevada 48-31. If that's all you have seen of this team, is quite misleading because it was far and away the Falcons best game of the year. What most haven't seen is their three games leading up to that one - a loss to Navy at home, a 1-point squeaker on the road at Wyoming, and just a 5-point win at home vs. a very poor New Mexico team. The Air Force also owns a loss to a 1-8 UNLV team. The Falcons' game against Nevada was a good win, but it must be kept in perspective. There is no secret here as both teams run the same offense. They do it better than anyone as Army is No. 1 and Air Force is No. 2 in rushing yards per contest. Looking at these teams defensively they are pretty close as well, and both have a lot of holes. The only thing uneven here are the records, and that is what has driven the line. But this is too many appoints in a rivalry game, and a home dog, with a pair of teams that are pretty closely matched. This one looks a lot like a one-possession game, so the play is on Army.
