Abilene Christian at Texas Tech

This is a monumental challenge for Abilene Christian as they oen the season at Texas Tech. The Wildcats have The Wildcats play in the FCS United Athletic Conference and closed last season with a 5-6 mark. The good news may open the door for a total play as the Wildcats averaged 20.5 PPG against a pair of FBS teams last season. Texas Tech won their Bowl game a year ago to finish the season with a winning record at 7-6. Texas Tech should have little trouble running the ball especially when they hand off to running back Tahj Brooks who ran 292 times last year, tops in FBS power-5 conference backs. It is also the third year for QB Joey McGuire at Tech, and the offense should have their way. Abilene Christian has proven they can deliver enough offense here to push the game OVER the total.
