Many people were surprised to see Lane Kiffin take the job at Florida Atlantic, but he has his team playing well at 3-3 on the season. The Owls have been pushing the scoreboard with an electric running game, one that has generated an amazing 1,406 yards over their last four games. They may not be able to do as much damage on the ground in this one, as North Texas has a very good defense against the run limiting opponents to 3.5 yards per carry, that average 4.4 on the season. This may create a few extra stops for the Mean Green. North Texas likes to throw, and throw it well, but once again, there is an unfavorable match up here as the best part of the FAU defense is slowing down the passing game. Overall we have a high total, with difficult match ups for both offenses. Make the play on the UNDER.
