Youngstown State at Central Michigan

The Youngstown State Penguins are not projected to do very well in the Horizon Conference this season. They struggled offensively in their opener vs. lowly Oberlin, shooting less than 40%, and were able to knock down just 4-of-16 from deep. The issue worsened against Kent State, shooting just 37% and hit just 2-18 from deep or 11%. Those were a pair of home games, and things could be equally bad or worse in taking to the road for the first time vs. Central Michigan. Central Michigan is off a cupcake win in their opener, but the difference is they dominated unlike Youngstown State. Youngstown State is 1-11 straight-up the past couple of seasons after a double-digit home win, and under head coach Jerry Slocum, they are 15-72 straight-up as a road dog. The Chippewas have a lot more weapons, and the Penguins' lack of scoring options will bite them hard on their first road test of the season.
