Yale vs. San Diego State

Yale comes off a huge upset of Auburn 78-76 rallying from a 10-point deficit in the second half and somehow won despite 54 percent shooting by the Tigers. San Diego State, which last year went to the championship, edged UAB 69-65 as the Blazers were held to 38 percent shooting and Jaedon LeDee poured in 32 points for the Aztecs, who won despite hitting only five 3-pointers. That is not unusual as San Diego State focuses on going inside for most of its offense. The Aztecs led the Mountain West defensively allowing only 66.5 points per game and a .404 shooting percentage. The Bulldogs were fortunate to be in the tournament in the first place as they barely beat Brown 62-61 in the Ivy League championship game when they were favored by eight points.
