Wyoming at Oregon State

Wyoming went UNDER six of its last eight games last season and stayed UNDER in its opener on Friday when it defeated Chattanooga 74-65, shooting only 41.7 percent, and held the Mocs to 40.0 percent. Only one player scored in double figures for the Cowboys, and that was Hayden Dalton with 30 points. The next highest scorer was Nyaires Redding with nine. Wyoming returns three starters from a team that won the Mountain West Championship.  Oregon State is attempting to recover from a disastrous season when the Beavers stumbled to a 5-27 record and finished last in the Pac-12 in scoring, but allowed only 72.5 points per game. Oregon State beat Southern Utah 99-82 on Friday with Tres Tinkle, the coach's son, scoring 24 points and the Thunderbirds were held to 38.6 percent shooting. Oregon State was near the bottom in the Pac-12 in nearly every offensive category in 2016-17 and will have a bigger challenge against the Wyoming defense. Play the UNDER.
