Western Michigan at Eastern Michigan

Western Michigan has won two of three games, both as a dog. They won at Bowling Green (74-68) as a +3.5 dog, then won the last game over Central Michigan (92-85) as a home dog. Western Michigan sophomore point guard Thomas Wilder leads the MAC in scoring during conference contests, averaging 21.2 points per game in league play. In all games combined, Wilder is averaging 18.7 ppg, which is second most in the MAC. They face an Eastern Michigan team that is on a 3-7 straight-up run, losing at home to Ball State (88-87) as -6 chalk, as well as losing to Bowling Green (84-79) as a -8.5 favorite. Defense is the problem, with Eastern Michigan second worst in the MAC in points allowed (74.5 ppg) and last in rebound defense. The offense is second worst in assists and three-point shooting. Western Michigan won the first meeting last month, 94-86, shooting 49% from the field and winning the rebounds 35-27. And they can do it again.
