Weber State vs. Xavier

Big Sky champion Weber State is a big dog but a fine all around team. Junior guard Jeremy Senglin leads the team with an average of 18.2 points and was named the Big Sky tournament MVP after putting up 22.3 points in the three victories. The strong defense was on display in the title game in a 62-59 win over Montana to reach the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons. Under Coach Randy Rahe the Wildcats have won five Big Sky Conference championships, two regular season and three tournaments, and have excelled on neutral courts this season (7-1 straight up). Weber has a dynamic one-two punch in junior guard Jeremy Senglin (18.2 ppg) and 6-9 senior Joel Bolomboy (17.2 ppg, 12.7 rpg), matching up well with an Xavier squad that is solid on defense, fourth in the Big East in points allowed and field goal shooting defense.
