Washington State vs. California

A good matchup for Washington State. Second-year coach Kyle Smith has really turned things around quickly, winning eight of nine this season. Guard Isaac Bonton (17 ppg) has returned to anchor the lineup and newcomers, forward Andrej Jakimovski and center Efe Obogidi (10 ppg, 9 rpg) have been impressive up front. They took Arizona to double-overtime before losing 86-82 in their Pac-12 opener. Cal is winless in the Pac 12 and their backcourt problems from last season haven't been fixed averaging 14.4 turnovers. Cal's best player, Matt Bradley (17.8 points per game), was helped off the court with an ankle injury the last game.
