Washington at Stanford

Washington has hit the skids, losing two in a row after an 11-0 start. Road play and turnovers are to blame, off an 81-75 defeat at Cal and now heading to Stanford. The Huskies hurt themselves with 12 turnovers and breakdowns on both ends that allowed Cal to establish a nice tempo and shoot 60.9 percent after halftime. The previous game they lost to Stony Brook, 62-57, at home! Stony Brook scored 19 points off turnovers. "Mentally, we just weren't there," said coach Lorenzo Romar. The Huskies are 0-4 ATS against the Pac-12 and face a Stanford team on a 3-0-1 ATS run. Stanford has won five of six, including taking down No. 9 Texas on the road, 74-71 in OT.
