Wagner at NJIT

NJIT had few good shooters to speak of last season so coach Brain Kennedy set out to recruit players who could put the ball in the basket and he came away with four new starters. The Highlanders played their best game of the season on Tuesday when they beat Sacred Heart 85-75 after leading 39-32 at halftime. Miles Coleman, the only returning starter, scored 33 points and NJIT shot 52 percent and 11 of 22 from 3-point distance. Wagner lost 82-44 and it is allowing 29.4 points in the first half and the Highlanders allow 33.4 points before halftime. The OVER is 5-2 in the Seahawks' past seven games after they scored fewer than 50 their previous game and NJIT is 7-2 OVER its past nine games overall. Take the first half to go OVER.
