Western Kentucky vs. SMU

The AAC is making an early impression in the holiday tournaments. Last night UConn beat Oregon, and SMU got a huge win over Top 5 Arizona in the Battle for Atlantis. Western Kentucky made a splash of their own with a win over a Top 25 team in Purdue. The Mustangs carry the pedigree coming into this one as they have won 109 games over the last four years and are 4-1 to start 2017. Western Kentucky may suffer a letdown here after their huge win as this is a talented team, but is still very young. The margin for error with this SMU team is very high as they shot just 31.6% against one of the top teams in the country and still won.
