Western Kentucky at Belmont

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers head out on the road for this first time this season. They come off a blowout win at home over a cupcake, but this is a big step up. The UNDER is 8-3 when the Hilltoppers score more than 90 points in their previous game. Belmont is off an 83-74 defeat at Arizona State Monday and comes home for the home opener. Belmont is 5-1 UNDER the total following a spread loss. Last season in Bowling Green, the Bruins rallied from a 15-point second half deficit to beat Western Kentucky, 64-63. Nick Smith's three-pointer with 12 seconds left provided the final margin. It was a defensive battle as Belmont shot 37%, just 9-of-33 from long range (27%), and the teams combined to miss 12 free throws. In fact, Western Kentucky was 33% from the charity stripe!
